BUILD CARS.BUILD SKILLS.BUILD A CAREER.

We're building the next generation of BFL Stop & Go Car Care—and we're looking for people who want to build it with us.

Why BFL

This is what we're actually offering.

Not a pitch. A description of what it's like to work here — and what we expect in return.

Real pay for real performance.

We pay competitively and we tie compensation to results. If you're producing, you'll feel it in your paycheck. We don't cap good people.

WE GROW LEADERS FROM WITHIN — AND WE WELCOME EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE LEADERS WHO CAN HELP US BUILD WHAT COMES NEXT.

Some of our strongest leaders have grown through BFL. As we expand, we’re also looking for experienced automotive professionals who bring proven leadership, operational knowledge, and perspective.

A team that holds itself accountable.

We don't tolerate people who drag the team down. That means the people around you are going to show up, do their job, and take it seriously.

Coaching that makes you better.

We invest in training. We give feedback. We don't just throw you in and hope for the best. If you're coachable, we'll help you get sharper.

Work that matters to people.

Customers trust us with their vehicles and their safety. That's not a small thing. The work you do here has a real impact on real people.

A culture that doesn't tolerate nonsense.

No drama. No politics. No one getting away with bad behavior because they've been here a long time. We hold everyone to the same standard.

How we operate

The standard we hold ourselves to.

We define what good looks like, train people to get there, and hold everyone — including leadership — to that standard.

We measure performance, address what is not working, and recognize people who do it right.

We built this company to be the kind of place we'd want to work. That's still the goal.

What we expect

This goes both ways.

We're going to be direct about what we expect from the people who work here. Not because we're harsh — because we think you deserve to know before you apply.

What we expect from you

  • You show up. Every shift, on time, ready to work.
  • You take ownership of your results — good and bad.
  • You treat customers and teammates with respect.
  • You're coachable. You don't get defensive when someone gives you feedback.
  • You care about doing the job right, not just getting it done.
  • You communicate. If something's wrong, you say so.

What we commit to you

  • We'll be clear about what's expected of you.
  • We'll give you the tools and training to succeed.
  • We'll pay you fairly and reward strong performance.
  • We'll give you honest feedback — not just at review time.
  • We'll promote people who earn it.
  • We'll hold everyone to the same standard, including management.

Compensation & growth

Let's talk about money.

We believe compensation should be clear. Base pay is competitive with the market, with performance-based opportunity for technicians, service advisors, and managers who produce strong results.

We also develop people for greater responsibility. Getting better at your job and taking on more responsibility can create opportunities for growth.

Performance culture

We keep score. Here's why that's a good thing.

If you are good at your job, you deserve to work somewhere that notices.

We track the metrics that show how the business is running, share them with the team, and use them to make better decisions.

"The scoreboard isn't there to pressure you. It's there so everyone knows where they stand."

Quality standards

We don't cut corners. We don't let you cut corners either.

Our reputation is built on doing the job right: using quality parts, following proper procedures, and being honest about what a vehicle needs.

We do not upsell unnecessary work, rush repairs to chase car count, or ignore a problem we know about.

If you've worked in shops where that wasn't the standard — where the pressure was to sell, sell, sell regardless of whether the customer needed it — you'll notice the difference here.

Is this you?

Who thrives at BFL.

We've seen a pattern. The people who do best here share a few things in common.

You're competitive — with yourself.

You don't need someone to push you. You track your own numbers. You want to know if you're getting better. You're bothered when you're not.

You take ownership.

When something goes wrong, your first instinct is to figure out what you could have done differently — not who else is to blame. You own your results.

You're coachable.

You don't get defensive when someone gives you feedback. You actually want to know what you're missing. You see criticism as information, not attack.

You show up.

Not just physically. You're present. You're engaged. You're not watching the clock. When you're here, you're here.

You care about the customer.

Not because you're told to. Because you understand that the person in front of you trusted you with their vehicle and their safety. That means something to you.

You want to build something.

You're not just looking for a paycheck. You want to be part of something that's growing. You want to look back in five years and know you helped build it.

If you're looking for a place to coast, collect a check, and avoid accountability — we're not the right fit. We'd rather be honest about that upfront.

Day to day

How we actually operate.

Not the mission statement version. The real version.

Senior automotive leadership

Already spent a decade building automotive experience?

You don’t have to start over. BFL is interested in experienced automotive professionals with backgrounds in store management, multi-store operations, fixed operations, sales leadership, team development, or automotive service operations.

For senior Operations Leadership candidates, 10+ years of relevant automotive management experience may be strongly preferred where appropriate. If you have built teams, improved operations, or led automotive service organizations, explore the leadership role built for that experience.
